This sounds a bit weird but I feel that I have a systemic infection as I also always get sinusitis and a very particular type of headache with the UTI. I feel it started when I had a very odd respiratory illness - I thought I had pneumonia because it hurt so much to breathe - but I had no fever and my GP dismissed it. At this time the sinusitis and headache started and then a few weeks later I started getting the UTIs. I think they're linked because they always occur together. I find that anything which places an extra demand on my body tends to make the sinus and UTI symtpoms flare (eg strenuous exercise, getting tired). Is it possible for an infection to migrate from the respiratory system to the bladder? Why are the tests negative? Does this sound familiar to anybody - I'm at my wits end.
Thanks

Hi.
I haven't had what you are writing about, but, I have been involved (as a patient) in the medical system for almost a dozen years.
May I make a suggestion ? GO WITH YOUR GUT !!!!!! Seriously.
I was wrongly diagnosed about 10 years back. Had I listened to the 'specialist', I wouldn't be here now. I insisted on a second opinion. I also researched !
Every time I went in, I had a new list of things I wanted ruled out. Eventually they found the real problem, and saved my life.
So, please research, and pay attention to what your body is telling you. You know yourself better than anyone.
Best of luck!
