Urge to Urinate

I am a 23 year old female who has the constant urge to urinate on and off for two months now.  Various doctors have checked for a UTI and there is none.  I have been on macrobid, vesicare and now I'm on flavoxate.  Each of these medicines have worked for about a week and then I get the constant urge to urinate again.  I just started the flavoxate and I have not gotten any relief.  I'm not in any pain, but the constant urge to urinate seems painful and is affected my daily life greatly.  What could be wrong?  I had an early miscarriage at the same time all of this started, but none of the doctors have found cysts and think that it is unrelated to what is happening now.  I am desperate for some relief!

So I am still desperate for relief for the urge to urinate.  No urologist can get me until for a couple of weeks.  Is there anything I can take for relief that I can get over the counter?  Would an ER doctor be able to help me with the contant urge to urinate?  I have taken azo fast relief strips, macrobid, vesicare and urispas with no relief.  I'm desperate!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urinationcan be due to diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection, hypercalcemia, hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in males).

In my opinion, investigations like kidney functions, blood sugar levels, ultrasound lower abdomen ,intravenous pyelography ,prostate specific antigen blood test, thyroid function tests and cystoscopy may be needed to confirm a diagnosis.I sincerely advise you to consult a urologist or nephrologist and get yourself evaluated so that a confirmatory diagnosis can be made.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
