Urinary Symptoms

Hello, I have to urinate about 20 + times a day. I go more often in the morning and the color is yellow. If I drink more than a few sips of water I have to start going like every 10 to 15 minutes for an hour or so. I get thirsty sometimes in the day but more than about 4 oz of water or so and I have to urinate very often. If my urinate is yellow, I'm somewhat dehydrated right? I'm worried I might be diabetic and not know it. Please help. I take Lexapro 20 mg each day and no other meds. I am tired a lot and my feet fall asleep easily. Any suggestions from a doc.
Thanks!

You probably have an overactive bladder. You need to see a physican. They will put you on the new medicines for overactive bladder like Detrol LA or Vesicare. As for the being thristy--sometimes this is a side effect of medicines but you really need to be checked by a doctor right away.

Hope this helped and everything is fine.

I don't have UTI. I was already checked for that and I don't have any pain. Maybe it's just part of life.

I guess you really need to see a doctor if your urinating a lot. I have friends who drink things like water, caffeine etc and feel the need to go to the toilet a lot, for no real reason.

It could also be a urinary infection but you havent mentioned any pain so its not likely.

And the more yellow/concentrated your unrine is means you need more fluids.

Hope everything is ok though!
