Dear Dr Kaul,

Thanks for your feedback.

Due to some inconvenient, she will meeting with her doctor next Friday. Will it a bit delay then?

Will there any symptom affected by this marginal increase of WBC? What should it be?

Cheers,
Joye

Hey Joye!

The WBC count is just at a marginal increase. If there are no specific symptoms, I would suggest taking plenty of fluids and taking a re-test after a week. If there are specific symptoms associated with a UTI, an empirical course of antibiotics may be indicated. I would suggest discussing the situation and the suggested management plan in detail with her treating doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
