Urology

My abdominal ultrasound shows that the right measures 100 mm in length and is normal in appearance, except for a clear fluid area in the mid-polar region which measures around 11 mm and is a simple cyst.

I would request advice on whether any treatment is needed. There is no pain, nor is there any other symptom.

Thanks!

Hi,

Are you referring to a cyst or a stone ? Is the 100 mm finding you are referring to is a stone?

Renal simple cysts which are not symptomatic ( no hematuria ,back pain ,abdominal pain, other urinalysis findings)  may not need further evaluation . Do elaborate on the 100 mm finding.

Will be looking forward to you answer.
