Vasectomy Reversal

My husband has a vasectomy reversal 8/3/07.  Our 12 week follow-up semen analysis showed no sperm but several "inflammatory" cells per section.  Does this mean that he could have rescarred?  How long does it take for a mature sperm to be ejactulated.  It had been about 14 years since the original vasectomy and the reversal was done microsurgically without complications.  The surgeon said that he found sperm "pieces" from the testicular end of the vas during the procedure.

Go to Yahoo Groups and search for vasectom reversal to get to their large vas reversal support group.

I had a reversal (for chronic pain, not for fertility) in 5/08. I was only one year post-vasectomy. My eight week post reversal semen analysis was normal (48 million sperm and 73% motility).

Good luck.
