Muscle bruise
Skin bruise, not away from it, and 2) there is an slight swelling in that region that appears to be permanent - could that simply be the remnants of a bruise?
I also noticed (although it may be unrelated, and is in an entirely different location) a vein on the upper side of my penis that occasionally became very tight and visible when I was erect, much like the descriptions I have read pertaining to a thrombosed vein. I can push it down with slight discomfort but it reappears after some time. In addition, the other veins have become significantly more noticeable, as if to compensate for an occluded blood supply.
I realize that the most effective way to seek help would be to go to a urologist, however I will be out of the state for another 3 months and I only have in-state health coverage. So I guess my main questions are as follows: 1) how long is it safe to let a thrombosed vein remain untreated, 2) what are possible effects of such a disorder (if this is in fact what I have), 3) should I be worried about any of this (actually, I'm already worried, but do you have any other advice for me), 4) could a thrombosed vein result from physical trauma (i.e. intercourse), and 5) is there anything I can do about Peyronies besides taking Vitamin E supplements.
Any advice or assistance would be GREATLY appreciated
