Very delayed Ejaculation

by john22345, Apr 20, 2005 12:00AM
I am 35 years old. I recently had a rather bad experience at the hospital. I ended up very drunk and at the emergency room. For some reason beyond my drunken recollection the hospital staff inserted a decatheter. I think because I was wetting the bed. I stupidly pulled it out and removed it on my own because of the discomfort. This left me bleeding. I was cleaned out because of all the blood and damage I might of aquired, also my bladder was checked out and urine too, by a urologist he said All was fine. I have recently had this problem that when I orgasm no semen comes out until the orgasm is over then I have to squeeze it out, or it kind of falls out rather than shoot out. What might be causing this? I also have a real fast urgency to urinate all of a sudden without much forwarning. Sometimes I have a little dribble if I have to go really bad. I still have a tiny bit of blood that comes out, very diluted though and my urine comes out pretty hard then seems to abruptly stop and I feel a little pullback type feeling for a minute or two, as if something is pulling back on my bladder or something. I am also on Prozac, Trazadone, Welbrutrim and for the past week have been taking amoxicillian for an infection in my mouth.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Taking a foley catheter out with the balloon inflated certainly can cause some traumatic damage to the lower urinary tract.

To dertmine if this is the case, you may want to consider a cystoscopy to evaluate if the anatomy has been damaged or not.

If these tests are non-revealing, the psychiatric medications you are on (i.e. the Prozac and the Trazodone) can lead to sexual dysfunction.  They can be discussed with your personal physician to see if this is the case.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
