Was I molested by my urologist?

Hi and thank you for taking the time to read my question. I'm a 60 year old male who's had an enlarged prostate for many years, since my early thirties. I also have had kidney stones. I was referred to a urologist who I had never seen before. Everything about the visit seemed normal until we got to the prostate exam. What was unusual was the length of time it took and the method. I'm used to a gloved finger inserted into my anus, the doctor feels my prostate for a very brief period of time and then it's over. I would say it would normally take 5 seconds at the most. During this exam, the doctor inserted his gloved finger, felt around but then started to move his finger in and out, not completely out, of my anus, like he was finger ******* me. (Sorry, but I don't know a better way of saying it) It felt unnecessarily aggressive. After 3-4 back and fourths he asked me, "Does this hurt?" And I answered back in a sarcastic "Well other than you shoving your finger in and out of my ***, no." Whereupon he simply replied "ok."  And the exam ended.

Was this a normal exam?

No, it does not sound like a normal prostate exam, as you describe it.  It's possible that the extra finger movements and question could be justified as a check for hemorrhoids, but that is not why you were there.
