Hi,
The normal values of the measurement of the various organs are as follows :
1. Liver PV(Portal Vein) – 1.0 + 0.2 cm
2. Liver CBD(Common Bile Duct) – 7.0 mm is the mean diameter
3. Spleen – 6 + 1.8cm
4. Kidneys – 11.3 + 0.8cm
The prostate surgery is considered only if there’re significant symptoms which are not controlled by the medical therapy and there’s significant collection of urine in the urinary bladder after voiding thus resulting in the risk of back flow/back pressure effects on the kidneys.
I sincerely believe that helps. Please do keep me posted. Kind regards.
