What is wrong with me?

by John41926, Jul 22, 2009 06:59PM
I have been urinarating differently for about 4 months now, at first i thought nothing of it, but now I am getting a little concerned.

When I pee , it : - goes in multiple directions
                        - burns/tingles when i start
                        - 9/10 times i do pee, it is hard to start urinating
                        - I pee quite frequently
                        - some discomfort in my lower back
                        - I feel like I always need to pee, even shortly after ive urinated

What could this be? Thank you all.

I would also like to note that i am 18 years old, male, and I pee a normal amount for the amount of fluids i intook. I drank cranberry juice once last week, and it seemed to sort of help. I would also like to mention my own opinion. I was in my hot-tub in april with my girlfriend, and she j*cked me off, and i came in the hot tub, could this be a UTI i am looking at?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
What you can do is examine the meatal opening to see if there is a skin tag of foreskin, tumor, cyst, bunch of hair, collection of smegma or a papule that is splitting the stream. If this is not the case, the problem lies somewhere in the urethra, which is splitting the stream. There are glands in the penis which can get infected and cause difficulty in initiating urine. There is a chance that you have UTI or prostatitis.
Ideally you should consult an urologist and get yourself examined. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hey I know that this was written a while ago, but I never had anything done, until about 2 weeks ago, I had a sudden sharp pain in my right kidney, it hurts now to touch it, I also had an odd taste in my mouth, I looked at it and those were symptoms of a bladder/kidney infection. So I went to the clinic, and they did a urine sample, and Im calling my doctor tomorrow about my results. Would having an infection for so long make me feel crummy, because for like the whole summer I felt very lazy and sore and had a sore throat, and pretty much just not my active self? Would this be associated with a bladder/kidney infection. Thanks a million. :)
