Why do I feel an intermittent coldness in my scrotum?

I am a 16-year-old male living in the northeastern United States. The past to nights (November 27 & 28, 2017), I have experienced a cold sensation in my testicles for about an hour in the evening. I have tested my friends' theories of poor circulation due to tight clothes, and of a need for urination. Both have proven false. There is no pain associated with the cold, just chilled sensation which happens for around an hour in the evening. What may be causing this?
