abnormal urine result

i had a kidney infection last month. i just did another urine sample cuz the pain is back but not as severe.. when it was done i was told blood was found in my urine but not an increased rbc count. wbc was a little elevated but no bacteria.  what could do that? i heard it might be pieces of my kidney

Kidney pain can be quite... strange (at least in my experience), sometimes occuring some time after an event for no apparent reason.  

I think it is possible that it is the healing process of your kidney. Obviously if the pain gets to where it is, or you have any other obvious symptoms, you should get re-assessed.
