Hi, I have a chronical cystitis since 2,5 years (have it about 6 times a year). I got prescriptions for all kinds of antibiotics and it turned out that I'm allergic to each of them. Now I got it again. I managed to take Suprax for 7 days (the only one I'm not allergic to), but it didn't work. After that I started taking Sulfameth/Trimethoprim. After 3 days I got skin rash, so I stopped taking it (phoned Walgreens at night for advice).
Since I have it I do everything to supportSupport Support 500 my immune system. Dink more than 3l fennel tea per day, eat cranberry capsuls and drink cranberry juice. I stopped eating meet and sweets, no coffee, no alcohol and try to keep myself warm (not easy with AC in the office).
Usually I take Uva Ursi capsules which helps better than the antibiotics. But the use of this seems to be restricted to not more than 5 times a year,because it can cause liver damage. I already took it 5 times...
