autoimmune symptoms and vasectomy

by honcha, Dec 02, 2008 04:00PM
Shortly after my son had a vasectomy he developed "drop foot" symptoms on his right side which then have progressed to include his right arm and hand to the point where he can barely hold a pen as well as the continuing  difficulty walking. He has seen a neurologist and had two MRIs (head and neck) which have shown nothing as well as blood and urine tests which also did not reveal a cause. Could this be an autoimmune response from the vasectomy? How can we get a diagnosis? Would a reversal help? He is currently seeing an osteopath but that doesn't seem to be helping either.
