MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How is your son? Are there other symptoms present like swelling, redness, discharge? Can you elaborate on the things you pull out from the belly button? If the pain persists, it is best that he see his doctor to rule out infection. Additional tests including blood test and imaging studies may be done to help with the diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
