bladder pain before urinating

by corolla06, Mar 02, 2008 11:51PM
Hi Everyone,
I need help.  After I have sex with my boyfriend I get bladder infection symptoms but there is no bladder infection.  I had a cystoscopy and my urologist says I don't have interstitial cystitis.  He prescribed me physical therapy and biofeedback.  Does anyone else relate to this and have any suggestions?  I am having a lot of pain in my bladder/pelvic area before urinating.  Thanks, Kelly :)

Some women suffer from "honeymoon cystitis" (sp?), it's makes you extremely prone to UTI infections from intercourse.  See a gynecologist and learn to either drink lots of cranberry juice or go to Wal-Mart and buy cranberry tablets in the vitamin section.

Bladder symptoms?
What about telling us more about those symptoms?
It could be a STD.

Tell your doctor that both of you had sex. Unprotected sex, I assume.

Sorry, didn't mean to bother you but I think it's not common to have just a bladder infection after, you know, doing that.
Some STDs may not have symptoms at all.

Have a nice week.
Bye.

did you test for yeast? do you have discharge or feel wet down there? yeast infection makes you go pee a lot too. if u have itchiness. it is highly yeast. it could be a possibility. wish u well and find out to have it treated soon!

I did try Monistat for the yeast infection n it helped. but u need to take measure in not wearing expose underwear  (after u got treatedd) or have sex with infected partner where u get yeast from .both have to be treated. i had this bladder problem. pain when urinating n peeing lot. plus itchiness. after using the Monistat cream n external cream it went away. drinking Cranberry  juice helps too as it helps rid of bacteria. u can buy this overcounter drug stores. yeast is hard to treat n it can come back if u r not careful in protecting yourself. it reoccurs quickly if exposed again. men can get yeast n if not hygenic, it harbors bacteria n yeast n  thus pass back n forth between sex partners. take care.
