bladder surgery complications

My husband had bladder surgery 4 weeks ago- the bladder neck was scraped out due to scare tissue forming. Since the surgery, he has been bleeding and clotting regularly.We've been back and forth to the ER, he's on his 9th catheder and still bleeding. The doctor doesn't know why he's bleeding like this- he went back in and corterized the area cut twice now. This is getting very frustrating, painful, and my husband is very depressed. The doctor is stunned. Meanwhile, we are looking into seeing another doctor- but in the meantime, my husband continues to wear the catheder. He has been irrigated regularly as well due to the massive clotts forming. He is also off his feet, drinking plenty of fluid and still bleeding and now getting weak. What do you think we should do and why is this happening? My husband is only 45 years old.
