Blood in the urine is concerning and should be evaluated urgently.
Damage to the kidneys (glomerular disease) is one possibility. Other causes include kidney stones, urinary tract infections, polycystic kidney disease, or cancers (renal, bladder or prostate) to name a few.
I strongly suggest followup with your personal physician for further evaluation.
