Hello,
Pain after urination can be caused by infection, urinary tract infection or interstitial cystitis, a chronic condition associated with nonspecific voiding symptoms one of the primary symptoms being pain.Other causes are prostatitis, urethral strictures or polyps.

A urologist’s evaluation along with investigations like urine examination, urethral swabs for gonrrhea and Chlamydia, digital rectal exam to evaluate the prostate and examination of prostatic secretions and  cystoscopy may be required to confirm diagnosis.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
