bruised penis i think

I believe I may have injured/bruised my penis a few weeks ago following some sex and rough masturbation. It was soar for a few days on the left side of the shaft, but I didn't see any swelling of discoloration. I laid off of it for maybe 5 days or so till it was feeling better, but then my girlfriend bent it a little while giving me oral and now the pain is back again. Like i said, it doesn;t look any different, but there is a vein on the area where the pain is coming from. I wonder if I might have bruised the vein or something.
Does this sound very serious, or will it go away with time and not too much strenuous activity? Thanks in advance for any info.

We cannot assume the extent of damage without examination and investigations like ultrasound and cystoscopy. It can range from a simple hematoma formation to penile fracture and injury to the suspensory ligament. Apply warm compresses and some topical anti-inflammatory cream. Oral anti-inflammatory drugs may also be needed for which I suggest you to consult a urologist.
