circumcision

I am a 20 year old male I was circumcised at birth.  The past few months I have noticed that when flaccid the skin around my penis is looser and covers at least half if not more of my glans to the point where it almost can look like I'm uncircumcised.  I masturbate at least once a day and the technique I use sometimes pulls the skin tawords the head of my penis.  Is this normal, Could this cause my skin to loosen and stretch farthur up my penis when I'm flacid over time? ere any way to reverse and is there any way to reverse this

Skin may be stretched manually, which puts tension on the skin.  The skin responds to relieve the tension by growing new skin cells and becomes larger or longer as the case may be.

Circumcised men restore their foreskins by stretching the residual shaft skin until it grows longer and becomes a new foreskin.

It sounds like your masturbation technique is having that effect.

Hi,

I'm not circumcised so I can't comment on the difference. However I think that you may benefit from the exess skin.
This skin helps during masterbation or intercourse. It acts as a sliding mechanism reducing the need of dry intercourse or friction between the penile skin and the skin that it is in contact with.
Some circumcised males go through the process of stretching the remaining skin in order to simmulate a natural foreskin. I believe that you have been blessed with this extra skin.
I'm almost 47 and in my life have only had one incedent with balanitis and paraphimosis. This came after I had had a catheter in for several months. It ended up being about a year in total. The first thing that our female family doctor suggested was circumcision. I responded with a firm no and a steroid cream was prescribed. In about a week things cleared up, with the exeption of the foreskin being tight. It took a while of me stretching it before things returned back to normal.
I have had many different surgical and medical procedures involving my genitals including the loss of my left testicle. I will hold onto my foreskin as long as I live as I don't think that I will be able to get used to being circumcised. I say a well educated no to circumcision.
I also believe that this is a decision that only the owner of the penis should make. My wife and I ensured that our boys were left intact.

All the best.

Ron

Pulling on the skin for long periods on a day to day basis can actually expand it. Some circumcised men have grown enough to effectively restore their foreskins (self included). It takes more than a few months, though. Perhaps your had a fair amount of loose skin in the first place?

Don't worry about it. There are many of us who were circumcised tightly and wished we had loose skin that when we were younger. Perhaps the doctor who did it to you showed a bit of mercy in not being too severe.
