I am a 36 year old mother of three. I had cystocele and rectocele repair surgery done 6 months ago and currently have a cold with a terrible cough. I have been noticing a "bulge" again and am worried that my repair could be failing. Honestly, I don't even remember/know if there are supposed to be any "bulges" in the vagina in a normal situation. Should I immediately see my doctor and what is the normal procedure for failure. The thought of going through surgery and recovery again is awful as I have small children at home with me!! Thank you!
