cystocopy

I recently saw my urologist after finding blood in my urine. This also happened 1 year ago. At that time some antiinfection pills cured rhe problem up within a day-as it did this time.I believe this problem  is due to my aversion to drinking water.Last year the dr.performed a cystoscopy- but no problems were discovered. This time again he wants to do a cystoscopy. Isthis neccessary or adviseable?? An early reply will be appreciated

Gross bleeding is always a worry, even if it has occurred in the past. If your urine is not culture proven infected I would recommend re-evaluation as your urologist has suggested. I would suggest a CT urogram and cystoscopy. Dehydration is not a cause of hematuria.
