Ive reaserched penis curvature but ive not found any cases similar to mine. my penis bends down. it looks like the muppet gonzos nose. there is a distinct point about half way up the shaft where it makes a sharp downward bend. erection is not painful but it does cause discomfort to my partner during intercourse. is there any nonsurgical treatment for this and what risks or side affects are involved. ive been dealing with this since childhood and i am now 30. im tired of the inconvinience and want to do something about this.

Peyronie's disease can lead to curvature of the penis.  An ultrasound of the affected area can visualize any plaques that are suggestive of the disease.

Injection of chemical agents such as verapamil, collagenase, steroids, calcium channel blockers, and interferon alpha-2b directly into the plaques can be discussed, although many of these modalities are in experimental phases.

The ultimate treatment is surgical - and can be considered if more conservative approaches do not work.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician, or in conjunction with a urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
