discoloration and abrasion of the penis

a few months back, i would masturbate with soap, and even though sometimes it would hurt, i would continue until i ejaculated.  now,  i have totally stopped this process for i feel that it has injured my penis. i have developped these dark areas around the bottom of the head of my penis and what seems to be an abrasion on the head of the penis itself. when i am errect, sometimes it looks as if the head of the penis is cracking and very dry. can you please tell me if all these signs are from harsh masturbation using soap and if so, what can i do to heal myself?

I'm 80 1/2 in good health, but recently I have this oddity. Can you help. My poor guy is a little out of sorts, he has discoloration of orangy-brown on his head-like jaundice like and the foreskin is swelling on the inside
and it cracks and is uncomfortable. Thank you for any thoughts...I'd like to keep the poor guy around....searching for a cure

Not a doctor here, and I can't tell you what the cause is.  If you think you injured your penis, give the poor fella a break for a bit, see if it begins to heal.  If it doesn't look better in a day or two, consult with your doctor.  Does it look like its forming blisters, sores or warts...those could be signs of an STD.  If you just abraded the penis, it should likely heal with a little time.
