effective retraining post catheterization

by mgrpt, Aug 09, 2008 06:21AM
For approximately 6 weeks my 38 yr old son has been catheterized during hospitalization for a lupus crisis. Now the catheter is being removed for 2-3 hours per day but he is not able to void. What additions to the programs can be made to stop this daily removal and replacement of the catheter and how long before results can be expected?

This discussion is related to Difficulty Urinating after removal of Foley catheter.
