ejaculation

Hi. I'm 19 years old and for the past year and a half since I started my sex life I have been having a problem. When me and my girlfriend are having sex i ejaculate in the first minute, or first 2 minutes if i'm lucky. Sometimes when i'm very aroused it lasts even 20 seconds. After the first contact, i can last up to 30 minutes or it happens again in the first 5 minutes. My erection is not rock hard after the first ejaculation. Lately its been harder for me to regain my erection and i do not want this to be an impediment in my relation. I do not know if this is a case of premature ejaculation or if i have other problems. Plus i feel embarrassed to talk with someone about this problem. SO what is your opinion about my situation. Is it a physical problem or a psychological one? Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What you seem to be having is premature ejaculation. This is a very common problem and unfortunately, there’s no medication for the same. The commonest cause of premature ejaculation is the anxiety of performance. The treatment of premature ejaculation is having a psychological session with the couple, stop-start or squeeze-pause techniques, desensitizing creams and SRRI(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) in severe cases. My sincere advice is to consult a urologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
