So I'm 23 and have what I assume is chronic epididymitisEpididymitis since I was diagnosed with epididymitisEpididymitis a few years ago and it comes back every so often and last anywhere from a week to many weeks (6+) and there is never any infection. So I guess my question is this: Is an epididymectomy worth it for someone my age? As of now, I don't want any kids, but I suppose I could always freeze some sperm and when my epididymitisEpididymitis comes back (such as right now) it puts a serious hamper on my life since I can't exercise, I'm always tired and in pain, etc, etc. So is an epididymyectomy worth the trouble and are there any serious repercussions of that surgery other than infertilityInfertility Infertility - resources Primary infertility? Thanks.
