erection mystery

by cswtsn, Aug 05, 2007 10:51PM
After the first of July this year 2007, I have had erection problems.  I am 33 years old.  Here is what I do know
I do get an erection during the night, I have woke up and noticed it.  I do not get one any other time.  My wife and I have been married for 10 years.  On July 1st, as we were having sex, my penis went completely flaccid.  I do not know why.  Ever since then, it takes at least 10 minutes for it to get erect whether by sexual intercourse or masturbation.  It takes even longer just to ejaculate.   We even rented a porno and my penis never got erect.  At the end of July I had a vasectomy.  I explained to my urologist what was going on.  He said it was normal for some men to have partial erectile dysfunction during periods in their life.  This is a first for me.  My wife and I always have had sex at least twice a week since our marriage.  (not counting her week of menstration)    What the hell is going on?  My urologist said to give it another month and then return to him if it was not better.  Help me please.
