failed synthetic bladder sling missing?

by capp3736, Feb 28, 2007 12:00AM
I have had 3 bladder sling surgeries for incontinence. In the first two surgeries, they used synthetic sling material and both failed. Both times, they had to redo them. The third one was with my own fascia.

My question is that when they re-operated after the first and second, they could not find any of the sling material...where could it have gone? Is it festering inside me?

I have been having some pelvis and groin pain and wonder if it is the missing sling material?
