groin pain

Dear sir

I am 27 years old, male and got married 2 years ago. Im having a groin pain exactly in the area where legs start and belly ends. Sometimes on left side and sometimes on right side and sometimes both. This is not a severe pain and I am feeling this from last 6 months. I feel uncomfortable while sitting on a chair etc. I feel comfortable when I standup or lay down. Even when I walk I feel comfortable.

I had a checkup to a urologist. He did my physical examination and ultrasound. He said its all fine, it could be a mussels pain. He didn’t see any serious problem and gave me pain killers. But im not much satisfied. Can anyone please help me to track what is this exactly?

Per the advice of my chiropractor, I have been taking calcium and magnesium supplements as he believes that there might have been some muscle tissue damage when I helped my friend move a bunch of food.  Ever since I started this past Sunday, my groin pain has decreased significantly.

With that being said, I saw a urologist yesterday, and he believes that there is nothing wrong with me.

I sort of feel your pain.

I started to find a solution in July 2010 for some lower back, and groin/testicular pain that has been with me since April 2009.  The pain occurred immediately after I helped a friend move 3000lbs of food for his church.   After telling my local physician my symptoms, she went and ordered up a testicular ultrasound, KUB, and pelvic/abdominal CT.  They found possible epididymitis, and mild thickening of the urinary bladder wall.  No hernias, nothing else.  No tumors, etc.. She pretty much referred me out to a urologist.  Case is still open with no satisfactory progress aside from some snazzy pictures from my imaging tests.

My groin, and testicular pain pretty much switches between the right and left sides depending on what I do.  About the only thing that sort of makes sense is that my chiropractor performed some reflexology on me strongly believes that I must have some damaged muscles down there.
