help! i'm peeing my pants!

I've been having a problem for about 10 months now. I'll be somewheres feeling normal, not having to go pee at all and then suddenly, the urge hits me so bad that even with severely squeezing inside, i pee myself a little bit. the other day it happened 6 times. It's very embarassing and uncomfortable. I've been tested multiple times for uti, stds, and nothing is wrong. my gyno said that he thinks my vaginal secretions are getting up my urethra and he gave me pills but that hasn't worked. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!!
thank you:)

Hello,
What you seem to be having is urinary incontinence. Urge incontinence is involuntary loss of urine occurring for no apparent reason while suddenly feeling the need or urge to urinate. The most common cause of urge incontinence is involuntary and inappropriate detrusor muscle contractions. Involuntary actions of bladder muscles can occur because of damage to the nerves of the bladder, to the nervous system (spinal cord and brain), or to the muscles themselves.

You can do kegel and pelvic floor exercises. I’ll also suggest consulting a urologist for the same and getting the uroflowmetry test done which actually tests the emptying of the urinary bladder. There are drugs to take care of the urge incontinence like oxybutinin but this needs to be taken only after consulting a urologist. I suggest you to consult a urologist and discuss these options with him/her.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care & please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts.

Have you tried pelvic floor exercises?

could be that you just need to tighten them a bit. you can do them when sitting/standing/lying and when doing normal things...just tighten those muscles and hold for about 10 seconds then release...then repeat a few more times. Doing that a few times through the day can help.

It could also be irritable bladder...i dont know much about it but the sudden urge you talk about rings bells..ask your doc/gyne about that.

Hope thats at least a little help!
