interstital cystitis PLEASE RESPOND

JLT
I'VE HAD IC FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND I AM HAVING A FLARE NOW. I ALWAYS HAVE MY URINE TESTED TO SEE IF IT IS AN UTI WHICH SOMETIMES IT IS BUT THIS TIME WASN'T. I GO TO THE DOCTOR WED AND I AM SURE HE WILL WANT TO DO ANOTHER CYSTO WHICH I DON'T UNDERSTAND SINCE I KNOW WHAT IT IS AND USUALLY TRY TO STOP IT WITH DIET AFTER I FIND OUT ITS NOT AN INFECTION. IS THERE SOME REASON THEY WANT TO KEEP DOING THESE TESTS? PLEASE RESPOND! THANKS JLT
