Dear Bill;
Thanks for your question.
It sounds like you may have two processes going on.
FirstFirst progesterone mc10
First progesterone mc5
First-progesterone vgs 100
First-progesterone vgs 200
First-progesterone vgs 25
First-progesterone vgs 400
First-progesterone vgs 50
First-testosterone
First-testosterone mc erectile dysfunction secondary to Peyronie’s disease. I recently answered a patient with similar complaints, who was asking about correction. Please click on site search and type in “Peyronie’s”
You are not reporting pain which is variable in Peyronie’s patients.
If your angulation is not too bad you may request a medically certified vacuum erection device (VED) from your Urologist to help with your erections . The urologist may ask you to document your curvature by taking a “Polaroid” ( self developing film) of your penis when it is erect. This will help determine if the penis will fit into the VED. This device is a cylinder connected to a pump that has a pressure valve for protection. The penis is placed to the hilt inside the cylinder. The pump is pumped and a vacuum is formed around the penis and the penis engorges with blood. To keep the blood in the penis after the vacuum is released, a comfortable constricting elastic band can be slid over the end of the cylinder to the base of the penis. If the vacuum is not for you then penile prosthesis is the “cadillac” alternative. There is more information and diagrams on webpages found in the patient teaching/ information section at Nephron.com.
The other problem you maybe having is called premature ejaculation. It is the most common sexual problem in men including impotence. The cure rate for premature ejaculation approaches 90-95%. This involves a motivated couple, the “squeeze method” and sometimes a sex therapist . You and your partner will receive instruction from a book describing the technique or from a certified sex therapist. Instructional sexual exercises are described and then you and your mate are expected to perform these exercises as homework. The central theme is to help you tune into and realize the impending orgasm. This helps you learn increased control. There are also some medications which may be prescribed.
