Subject: lump in testicle

Forum: The Urology Forum

I am a 29 year old white male, and I have what appears to be a lump on my right testicle, near the epididymus.  I met with a euro the oter day and he said, by touch, that he did not know if the lump was on the testicle or not.  He also stated that the lump was not the "typical" size or shape of something to be concerned about.  I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow.  My questions are; (1)Are all testicular cancers a "typical" size or shape? (2)If this lump were cancer, would it be expected to increase in size? (3)what are the chances of a benign cyst versus cancer?  Thank you
