marble sized cyst near urethra(women)

I had just seen my gyno last week for a pap and he told me he felt a marble size cyst near my urethra. I keep having pressure like i have to pee all the time, he said that could be causing some of the discomfort. He didnt seem to worried about it but is referring me to a urologist just to double check. I was just wondering has any one else had this and what could it be??

Thank you for answering my question. If it is that could it be causing stomach pain? I told him that during intercourse i get really bad pains, he said it might be possible that it could cause some discomfort. Im wondering if this is causing the cramps i have been having or if it might be something else. Do those cysts really cause any symptoms?

Hello,
This cyst near urethra can be a bartholin cyst as well. The other possibility is of a paraurethral cyst. Paraurethral glands are located in the vaginal wall at the opening into the urethra in females. A paraurethral cyst appears as a glistening, tense and bulging yellowish-white mass reducing the size of the urethral opening.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
