meatal stenosis

Dear Sir,
I am having Meatal stenosis problem.I take some more time to pass completely the urine. I would like to know whether this problem will lead to completely stop the urination some days if I do not attend to this problem.I need to post phone the surgery for 3 three more months.What is your advice on this.And also I would like to know is there any method by which I can know from the urine flow the time for Surgery.Kindly give your suggestion

Thanks for writing to the forum!
As you already know that meatal stenosis is treated by surgery only. However, today some home dilatation methods are available, which you can ask your urologist. This is not a substitute to surgery but can probably help delay the surgery.

If you delay the treatment for too long, this can close the hole completely over a period of time. However it is difficult to say how long that will take.

It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
