microscopic blood in urine

I'm 32, male. I have been diagnosed for microscopic blood in urine. Cytoscopy was performed. Sometimes they see bacteria in urine(not always) All STD tests(chlmydia, gonnerhe..etc) came negative. There is always a urge to urinate.Sometimes 8 times a day. What other tests i need to undergo to find out the cause of problem

Hello Dr. Thanks for your reply. I have undergone Urine cytology, culture as well. My urologists asked me to visit after 1 yr. But I'm worried as the underlying cause is no found.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Microscopic hematuria can be due to urinary tract (bladder) infection, swelling in the filtering system of the kidneys ,stone in bladder or in a kidney, blood disease, like sickle cell anemia, certain medicines and tumors in the urinary tract.
You may need a series of investigations like urine examination, urine culture, ultrasound or cystoscopy (already done in your case) to confirm the diagnosis. Please consult a urologist and get it done.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and regards.
