multiple small urethral masses

I was recently referred to a Urologist for multiple small masses palpable along the length of my penile urethra which are accompanied by bilateral palpable inguinal nodes which have persisted for 3 months (PCP noted that entire chain on both sides was palpable). I underwent multiple urinalyses/cultures which were negative for gonhorrrea, chlamydia and other infectious diseases. The Urologist performed a cystoscopy which was normal. Blood counts and inflammatory markers were normal. Urologist tells me that no further testing is warranted and PCP agrees. I am concerned about urethral cancer. Do you agree that no further testing is needed given the normal cystoscopy? My only symptom is a spraying urine stream.

Urethral cancer is extremely rare. With a cystoscopy, it is a pretty thorough evaluate for urethral diseases. The definitive test would be a biopsy to ensure it isn't cancer. If this was already done and negative, the I would agree with your urologist and PCP that no further testing is warranted.
