myserious pain after urination

i dont know what topic to put this under so sorry if its in wrong slot. And thanks for reading/answering..
In the past i have had pain in the middle of my penis that comes and go's. When it happens i go in to the std clinic and get tested and am always clean. I have had chlamydia a few times and have been treated for it. The pain has started again after urination, Never during. Which has the doc i go to thinking its not chlamydia but she tested me for it and treated me anyway. am currently waiting for the result. Which i have afeeling will be negative. She said if i am really worried i can come in for more testing if i want but i doubt it is gonorrhea because.  this is the only symptom i have. The only other thing i can think of is after i urinate i dribble a little bit sometimes. Its like a few drops and thats about it. The pain after urination only lasts for a little bit then go's away. Anyone have any clue if this is something to be worried about? or should i expect the pain to go away again. i dont really have much money so cant afford to go to a doc i have to pay for unless i have to. thats the only reason i havnt gone to a urologist. could this be my diet? thanks for your time.

So my test for the stds are negative, as i thought. The pain is minor now, It seems to be going away slowly. I am drinking plenty of water and have cut caffeine out of my diet. Which is pretty much what i did last time this happened. I had pretty much the same thing go on this last december. It all went away and i was fine. I have had a few times throughout the months here and there i could feel the minor irritation but never enough to make me worry. I dont want to keep dealing with this so i set up an apointment with a doc for this coming monday, Even tho i dont have insurance. sexually i function just fine but i am curious if it is safe to get physical with my significant other. And also i am kinda worried about how much all of this will cost. I dont have much money. Any hints on the general cost of a blood test? or urine test? Thanks for your time :)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Pain in the penis or in the perineal region that is associated with dribbling at the end of urination can be linked to an inflammed or enlarged prostate gland.

It is possible that the repeated infections with chlamydia may have cause a chronic inflammation of the prostate that could be causing an enlargement of the gland.

You will need to consult a urologist and will need to have at least a DRE to rule out an enlarged prostate. Following this you may also be required to have prostate massage test to identify the presence of infection in the gland.

In the interim you can do the following to avoid further irritaion to the prostate and to minimize pain:
Keep fluid intake in excess of 2000 ml per day.
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, citrus fruits, and spicy foods and other such prostate irritants.
Always sit on well-padded surfaces.
Avoid sitting for prolonged durations of time.
Sit in a hot bath for 10-15 min twice daily.
Take tylenol for the pain every 6 hours if constant, or as required.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
Regards
