pain and blood after ejaculation

Hi, am 41 years old. Its been a year now that i am experiencing this pain at the tip of my penis during urination and worst is that am experiencing 2-3 seconds pain after ejculation and have noticed that there is blood in the semen after ejaculation. Sometimes i feel pain too in my testicles but that only happens once in a while. At other times after playing a round of golf, i noticed in my brief  blood stains and that scares me too. Two months ago, my doctor prescribed me FLUCONAZOLE because he told me its just a yeast infection basing it from my urinalysis urethral smear. Until now am worried and am confused because i my situation didn't improve and i  have read in the postings of other people having the same feeling just like mine about PROSTATITIS and EPIDIDYMITIS.
Pls enlightened me about my condition and i need your best medical advice. Thanks very much and more power!

If you have a yeast infection, your wife/girlfriend probably has it too, and you have both been infecting each other. So no matter what you take to stop the yeast infection, your female partner can reinfect you whenever you have sex.

Your girlfriend/wife needs to also get treatment for yeast infections at the same time as you, or the problem wont get resolved.

Hi,
How are you? Pain at the tip of penis is a symptom of prostatitis, while blood in semen could be due to prostatitis, STD or due to rupture of blood vessel in the prostrate. Have you got examined your prostrate? Usually in men above the age of 40 years, there is prostrate enlargement, which can lead to obstructive symptoms, there by causing infection.

Also, I would suggest to get a check of blood sugars, as uncontrolled blood sugars can cause opportunistic infections to develop like yeast infections.
Consult a urologist and discuss the above mentioned possibilities.
All the best.
