pain due to retacted testes

hello doctor,
my son age 7 has been suffering abdominal pain since 4 months now,the pain lasts fo about 20min. last week when he suddenly started compalining that its the lower abdominal pain we got worried. we saw a general sugeon, he diaognised that his scotrom (bag )is empty and im sure the pain is due to the retracted testes. for which there is no medicine and only surgical correction is the option.
i would like to know how far the diogonises is correct and whats the severity of this condition.how fast should we take him for a surgery.hope you will help me out asap.
