I have much the same thing, also in the right. Sometimes in the left but this isnt as common. Pain radiats from testicle (the 'nodes' where the epididymitis meets the testicles especially) along the epididymitis through the groin and into the hip (where there is a 'heavy' ache, almost like a sore muscle). Occasionally (can go months without) there is prostatsis-like pain behind the testicles. I have had this for almost 5-6 years and doctors have never been able to find anything physically wrong. I was on antibiotics for some time several years ago and the pain lessened but never entirely cleared up. I have had ultra sounds of testicles and abdomen - as well as groin area for hernia without anything popping up. I am seeing another doctor (one again) very soon to get another opinion

I'm going to see if i can push for antibiotics again, since its the only thing that seems to have ever cleared anything up. What i hate is the constant tests and ultrasounds and bloodtests and physical exams that end with a shrug and "well i can't find anything wrong, lets try this other test" that just goes around and around in circles.

I'm hoping - again - for something different this time.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Pain in testicle could be due to infection, like prostatitis, epididymitis or orchitis. Get a culture sensitivity test for both semen and urine done. Orchitis will present with some redness and swelling in the testicular area. Also it could be due to referred pain of kidney stones. An ultrasound of the lower abdomen will be able to rule out kidney stones. It could be due to cancer of testis. It could be due to varicocele or spermatocele. An ultrasound of the testicles will diagnose cancer, varicocele and spermatocele.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. You should see an urologist regarding this. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
