pain in shaft

I just joined a website that shows several different exercises to increase ones size. I had never tried any of these techniques, and I immediately skipped to the advance techniques hoping for faster results.
Without proper warm-up or stretches, I performed one of these exercises improperly and  caused a lot of blood to the top half of my erect penis. That hurt. So I stopped immediately and didn't try anything after that.
I remember feeling fine for a couple of days, but now I have a little bit of an ache in the shaft near the end or the "top half."
Also lack of sensation, erections are very brief and difficult to maintain, ejaculate seems to have decreased in volume, and overall less horny.
I feel like some of this is due to the slight pain, but I don't know if it can account for all of it.

I have an appointment with a doctor but it's not for a couple of weeks. First, what did I do?
And what can I do to get things back to normal?
I'm a college kid, and I'd like to get things healthy.
