pain in testicles

it all started 3 weeks ago when  my gf was playing with me and my right testicle went up into my body and she had to push it back down, this is the first time this has happened. A few days later i was getting mild pains until 1 day i was walking around town all day and when i got home the pain became severe, i went to the hospital and was told after blood tests that its an infection in the testicles and was put on 2 different antibiotics and declafe but couple of days later i had to go back because i had a reaction to the pills so i was put on ciproxin 500mg twice a day. I am on this for the past 2 weeks with 2 days left of medication and my pain is still very bad.. what could this be? (my right testicle went into my body again during sex) i had Inguinal Hernia when i was a child and i was diagnosed with chronic prostatatis in 2009)is it possible to be torsion? i dont think i was examined well enough to rule it out. please help

Hello,
Such type of burning sensation can be due to injury, infection (Epididymitis or Orchitis) or inflammation, testicular torsion -- most common in young men between 10 and 20 years old, excessive bicycle riding, hernia or kidney or ureteric stones.
The final diagnosis can only be made after a thorough physical examination including examination of the abdomen, scrotum, testicles and rectum.

Lab investigations like complete blood examination, urine examination, ultrasound lower abdomen and sometimes a urethral swab will help in diagnosis. Treatment will be started thereafter.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
