pink drops at end of urination

I'm a fit, thin, healthy young man in my early 20's. Recently (yesterday) while urinating I found that the last few drops of my urine were pinkish. That is, the normal urine color of light-yellow clearness was tinted with what I assume is a bit of blood.

How to describe this... at the end of urination, when you're trying to contract your muscles to stop the flow of urine, that's when these last few drops turn pinkish instead of their normal color.

I'm not sure what to make of it. This is the first time it's happened. I'm not experiencing any other problems, no pain or anything like that.

Blood in the urine is called Hematuria; it can have a variety of causes.  I suggest you see your doctor, but until then, go to

www.urologyhealth.org

they explain things well...

The exact same thing has been happening to my 3 yr old son (today and 2 days ago).  I am calling the Doctor tomorrow.  Did you ever find out what the cause was?  The rest of the urine is normal pale clear yellow color.  It is just those last few pink drops that have me worried.
