I am a 58 year old male who had a surgical procedure to remove a large 6cc kidney stone by Ureteroscopy. This procedure was performed on a Tuesday at 4P. The stent was removed Thursday at 4P the same week. It has been 7 days and I am still have severe pain every 2-4 hours which requires me to take Vicatin or Oxycodone to manage the pain. I have been to the Emergency Department for morphine to control the pain. I have dark leather like flakes in my urine. This seems abnormal for a recovery period. I have scheduled another appointment with my urologist. Can you offer any advice?
