Approximately 20 percent of men have premature ejaculation. There can be non-drug therapy involving the "pause and squeeze" technique, but this has variable success.
Various types of antidepressants have been used - including Zoloft and Paxil.
Other studies have shown that clomipramine may be more useful than the SSRIs (i.e. Zoloft and Paxil listed above).
Another medicine to consider would be Trazodone, which has been used in some smaller studies.
