Hi,

Cystitis cystica is a rare condition of the bladder. It is attributed to an irritative factor, and hence the treatment would be removal of this factor. It generally follows a benign course and would be expected to heal similar to other cystitis (like infections), however there are case reports of the same finding alongside cancers of the bladder. Hence, there should be long-term follow-up. It is pretty difficult to make an estimate of how these conditions behave due to their rarity, hence, each case must be taken upon its individual characteristics.
Discuss what options are available with the doctor and make sure that this is not really a masquerading cancer.

Hi , i belive the cystoscopy is when they insert a camera up to look for anything unusual (yes lumps but this is very rare as im speaking from experience) your friend will probably need a simple procedure where they widen the urethra.

I have Cystitiscystica. I have a lot of lower pelvic and side pain. Also every time I have a urine check it shows hugh amounts of blood. This has been going on for at least 12 years, (not the pain ). The pain stated about a year ago when I had a kidney stone. I had a cystoscopy about a month ago that showed I have this condition. During the cystoscopy I could see loads of what I called bubbles (cysts). Treatment is not helping pertaining to the bleeding. Can cystitiscystica turn into cancer? I have asked and gotten no response from Dr.

Hi
I am an Anaesthetist and suffering from cystitis cystica glaudularis. operated thrice using Ho:Yag laser. but the disease persists and pain remains. However i belive i have controlled the illness lots via diet modification and yoga.
Yoga has really helped. If i dont do yoga for 3-4 days my pain starts all over again.
Am willing to share my experience to all those out there undergoing the terrible pain and agony. No recurrence since last 1and half year
  I am available at ***@****
